The moment I saw the concept of Crystal Palace Calling, I fell in love.
In the South of Crystal Palace Park, there is an old (classic) telephone booth that has been 'adopted' and is now a public space where artists can display their works.
I contacted Hazel to be part of it, and I very luckily got a spot, coinciding with London Festival of Architecture to display my audio-visual display for the month of June.
The idea of my show was to display a selection of my latest illustrations and with the use of QR codes, showcase videos that I have been putting together of time-lapses of my painting process or some of my latest animations, where I play digitally with my own illustrations to bring them to life.
